I'm back!! – Mummascribbles

When you do most of your blogging on a phone like I do, you truly do rely on it working,  functioning and being all round awesome. I was very excited when I got my new phone just a few weeks ago – changing from an iPhone to a Samsung, learning how it works, exploring all of it’s fab features. So when some idiot got on the tube with his rucksack and knocked it flying out of my hands, sending it crashing to the floor – well when I picked it up to check it was OK,  it wasn’t. It wasn’t smashed but the screen was flashing and it was just black. Completely and utterly broken.

For the last two weeks I have had no phone (it took me a while to report it because getting through to the phone company can be a ruddy nightmare and I couldn’t find time!). And because of this, there has been a serious lack of blogging from me! Other than a couple of review posts and the usual scheduled ones I do, I have barely written anything.

I’ve also hardly been on social media. The odd tweet here and there and the odd Facebook post but that’s it. I’ve had no access to instagram and all the other things I use.  I struggled with RTing the Twinkly Tuesday posts that I was copied into and in fact I had to take a week off from it because I knew I wouldn’t be able to fulfil the duties that I promise each week.

I’ve missed writing, even though I’ve been so pre-occupied with work that I’ve barely had time for anything else. I’ve missed the creativity and the getting my thoughts out there. 

The thing I’ve missed most though is the reading other blogs.  I have no idea what’s going on with some of my favourite bloggers because I just haven’t had the means to read. Of course I have a computer but I do most of my reading and writing on the go while commuting to and from work.  And I haven’t been able to do that.  I haven’t been able to chat to them on twitter and I have some serious catching up to do! I also have a gazillion comments to respond to so do bare with me – I do intend on replying to you all!

So now I am back.  My new replacement phone was delivered on Thursday while I was away with work and last night I sat and got it all set up.  I finally have a working phone again and I can’t wait to get on with some blogging again.
