Lands End Jeans – a review – Mummascribbles

AD – Review – I was gifted the item for the purpose of this review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Jeans. Something I have struggled with forever. I’ve never been the biggest fan of denim – never really liked the feel of it against my skin. When I do get new jeans, I always try and get ones that are soft denim because I much, much prefer that.

When I was asked if I would like to try out a pair of jeans from Lands End, I had a browse of their website and tried to spot the ones that would be lovely soft denim! There are a large number of jeans to choose from on the site and they all come in quite an array of sizes, including different lengths. There is a size chart to help with working out sizing, although I honestly had no idea what size or length I needed to go for so I took a risk and ordered a pair of high-waisted skinny-leg slimming jeans in a size 12, 30″ leg.

When they arrived (very quickly), I was super chuffed. Firstly with the packaging which made them feel really posh. They arrived in a lovely blue box with a fancy blue bow tied around it and the actual jeans were wrapped in tissue paper too. Secondly, I was happy with the actual jeans which immediately felt soft to the touch and stretchy which is always a bonus for me – I do like a bit of stretch to make room for food throughout the day!

The jeans are really comfortable. I chose the Beech Blue colour because I wanted a lighter pair and I was really happy with that choice.

They fit perfectly around the waist and the leg length is perfect too. They work well with both boots and trainers so are versatile with where you could wear them. You could definitely jazz them up with a pair of heels for a night out if that’s your thing (my heels days are long gone).

I wouldn’t say they are particularly skinny-legged as there’s a bit of bag to the knee and lower leg. This isn’t a problem as they are really comfy but if I was bothered about them being super skinny-legged, I might not have been quite so happy.

I’ve been wearing them both in the house and outside and there is no discomfort at all. They don’t fall down, they don’t feel tight. I do a lot of walking on school runs and dog walks and they are very comfortable throughout all of those. They feel like a really decent pair of jeans and a very welcome addition to my wardrobe!

I would definitely order another pair of jeans from Lands End. I’d heard of them before but had never ventured onto their site, always opting for brands I knew well, but now I’ve tried a pair of these out, I wouldn’t hesitate to add to the collection! They are clearly a quality brand to use!
