Mummascribbles – Chuggington ConnecTrax and Little Chuggers review – Mummascribbles
Over the Easter weekend, we received a package full of Chuggington toys from their brand new range of ConnecTrax. We were among the first in the UK to try these out and you can see our unboxing video at the end of this post (don’t get excited – I really need to work on my videos!).
The ConnecTrax packs are compatible with most pre-school systems and as we already have a lot of train tracks at home, it’s really great that we can add these on if and when we want to. When we received the pack, Zach was happy to make it into a loop and send the trains round and round and round!

The trains themselves are made out of rubber (apart from the wheels which are plastic) and are aimed at ages 2+ which is really fab. The sets that Zach already has are probably for slightly older children so I feel happier about Oscar getting his hands on these ones over the wooden ones that are upstairs. He’s less likely to bash himself with them!
Rather than the usual magnet connection, these are connected by links which Zach really enjoyed putting together. Considering it is aimed at slightly younger children, he was super excited to play with it. Trains are trains to a four year old aren’t they?!

There are 24 characters to collect in this series along with a range of ConnecTrax to make it into a much bigger track. The track comes in a little carry bag which is really handy to put away again. Check out the video to see what I mean – Zach was so excited, he’d taken it all out of the bag before I managed to take a photo of it! But here are a couple of the individual trains that we got!

This is a really great little set for any train fan but particularly for any Chuggington fan. Have a look at our unboxing video for a closer look!
The Chuggington range is available in toy stores now. You can follow Chuggington (@Chuggingtonhq) and Jazwares (@Jazwares) on Twitter for up to date info.
