Mummascribbles – One Lovely Blog Award – Mummascribbles
I have been nominated for the one lovely blog award by the very lonely Tin Box Traveller. Thank you so much Claire for thinking of me when making your nominations
I admit I had no idea what this award entailed but I have since learnt that the rules are:
1. Thank the person nominating you and link back to them in your post
2. Share seven things about yourself
3. Nominate ten bloggers for the award
So, here goes…
7 facts about yours truly
1. I had a bit of a problem with choking as a child! I have choked on no less than 1 barley sugar and 2 werthers originals! The barley sugar was unfortunately while I was in the back of a car on a long journey home from Wales. Once my sister had realised that I wasn’t hitting her just to be annoying and that actually I was choking and couldn’t speak, dad pulled the car over, grabbed me out, whacked me on the back several times. What actually released the sweet was me sneezing!! After the panic of that we realised we were parked outside a cemetery!! Safe to say I still try to steer clear of boiled sweets and was very happy when werthers brought out chewy toffees!!
2. I have naturally curly hair. No-one ever believes me because I straighten it all the time but when I was a little girl I had some serious wild ringlets going on!
3. I have one older sister who is more of a best friend. We didn’t always get along (I was the annoying little sister) but have a great relationship now.
4. I worked for the same company for ten years before jumping ship last October. It was a big jump but I’m enjoying my new company!
5. I love a bit of celeb spotting. In my previous job I worked in the West End and saw none other than Victoria Beckham, Noel Gallagher and Ricky Gervais to name but a few. I now work by ITV studios so am always on the lookout for celebs hehe!
6. I am terrible at drawing! Absolutely rubbish at it. I truly hope that Zach takes after his Dad in that department!
7. I am completely ticklish. There is not one part of my body that isn’t ticklish! It infuriates my other half when he comes in for a cuddle and I’m batting him off like an annoying fly because it’s tickling. Zach loves tickling mummy though – I have to be careful to not react violently with him – only the other half can get my being tickled attacks!
