Mummascribbles – Review: Childs Farm – Mummascribbles

In a previous blog, I mentioned that I had ordered some Childs Farm products for Zach to use in the bath. He suffers from eczema and so we never use anything that has any bad stuff in. We have so many Johnson’s products at home that we/other people bought before he was born and almost 2 years later they haven’t been touched and won’t be (I really must give then away!). I saw Childs Farm mentioned by mummyandbabyblog and thought I’d give it a go.

Taken from their website: “Childs Farm products contain zero nasties. Children deserve products that are mild and gentle which we most certainly ARE, not harsh and abrasive ones. Young skin and hair deserves the respect of a researched product on them – all our products contain certified organic essential oils. Our products DO NOT HAVE Parabens, SLS’, Mineral oils or artificial colour”

I didn’t expect it to clear his eczema up but I did hope that it wouldn’t make it any worse.

I am happy to say that after about 2 weeks of using it, we love Childs Farm!

We are currently using:

Get your feet wet! Bubble bath for buccaneers – £4.69
Groomed to perfection! Shampoo for luscious locks – £4.69 (I think this is technically a girly one but the one for dirty rascals wasn’t available when I bought it!)
Hand and body lotion for silky skin – £4.69

Firstly, it all smells divine. Like, really, really good and I keep sniffing Zach every time he gets out of the bath!

Secondly, his skin has never looked better! We have been using the hand and body cream intermittently with his double base cream and his skin looks fantastic. He is so silky smooth!

Thirdly, the bubble bath really does create bubbles! I know that sounds ridiculous but we were using another bubble bath and it didn’t create half the amount of bubbles as this does! Zach absolutely loves the ‘guggles’ in his bath now!

So I would like to thank Childs Farm for creating such a wonderful array of products that are so super friendly to my little man’s skin! I have just bought the 3 in 1 Swim Wash and I am over the moon to find the whole range in my very small local Boots simple-smile-9616709

Note: I have in no way been asked to review these products. All opinions are my own and are based on personal experience.
