Puppy Love with Co-op Insurance – Mummascribbles

This is a collaborative post

Another valentines day has gone with the blink of an eye.

I saw someone post on Facebook that the local flower shop was still open just before midnight. I saw another post about the mad rush of men that were surrounding the ‘seasonal’ aisle of the supermarket. In the past I have received flowers, I have had lovely meals cooked for me. This year? I received nothing.

Now, I am not complaining. I am one for forgetting that valentines is even happening (despite it being everywhere!) and I always tell the other half not to waste his money. There’s something really lovely though when he does come home with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers for the occasion.

Like I say, this year I got nothing, he got nothing and the worst thing? He flew out to Texas from Heathrow at lunchtime on the day itself, I felt ill, hadn’t slept the night before as I had some extreme stomach bug and I had to look after Zach whilst curled up very hungry on the sofa, scared to eat anything! So, as you can see, there was absolutely no romance in the house for us this year.

For lots of people though, Valentines day is just another day. Maybe they have just been through a break up. Maybe they are not looking for a relationship right now. Maybe they just haven’t found that special person yet. I have found a solution to those issues though.

It can be tough finding someone who is affectionate, who your friends like, has great hair and really woofs you. Someone who won’t judge you for cuddling up on the sofa, eating snacks and watching TV.

This perfect Valentines treat comes in the form of The Rollin’ Bones, the latest doggy band. I don’t know about you but I love a dog. I particularly love a singing dog and so a whole band of them is just brilliant.

This brilliant video featuring some of the cutest dogs and there’s also a fab behind the scenes video where you can see even more doggy action! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did and that it brings a little joy into your lives this valentines. I’m waiting for my man to come home on Saturday morning where I’ll be sniffing around his suitcase to see if I have any treats within! Then I’ll say hi 🙂
