HD Metal prints from Hello Canvas – a review – Mummascribbles
We have had several photoshoots over the years and since the first one back when Zach was a wee baby, things have changed quite a bit in terms of what is available with the end result. With the last two shoots, we have been so tempted by the HD Metal prints, but quite simply, we could not afford them. Instead, we opted for lots of small photos from the collection which we have turned into a photo wall. They still cost us a fortune but we got a lot more for our money.

When Hello Canvas got in touch to see if we would like to review one of their products and I saw that they do prints on HD Metal, I instantly knew what I was going to choose. Not only did I think they looked amazing online but with so many of my own photos featuring bright bold colours, I knew that I must have something in my collection that would look really impressive on the wall.
The first thing that I loved about using the Hello Canvas website was that you can see a preview of how your photo will look. You can upload a photo from your computer and you can even upload direct from your Instagram! Once it is uploaded, you can then zoom in and move it around until you have it exactly as you wish. And, you can even add filters, changing it from full colour to black and white in an instant! And then with a few other clicks of the button, the picture is on its way to you. Ordering made simple!
The initial photo that I was going to get printed wasn’t the best quality and the team came back to me suggesting that I find a better quality one rather than receiving one back that is blurry. So I dug around my collection again and found the two most perfect photos. Both of the boys, both around about the same age – even though they look completely different ages which I think is down to the amount of hair on Oscar’s head!. And since they were both sitting in ball pools, surrounded by brightly coloured balls, I thought they would look really good in the HD Metal.

And I wasn’t wrong was I?
I was so chuffed when they arrived at the door, and I quickly opened them to reveal them to the other half who had no idea what I had ordered (do they ever?!). The quality of each is just brilliant and will look so good when we pop them up on the wall (once I have decided where they are going!).

The best thing is that they are really reasonably priced and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy more of them at some point in the very near future.

We were very kindly sent two HD Metal prints for the purpose of this review. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
