Living Arrows 2021 – Week 14 – Mummascribbles

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

I missed last week’s Living Arrows – I just never quite got round to writing the post and then it was too late in the week. So here I am on week 14, the first week of April and still in lockdown!

We have however just celebrated Easter and we are on the Easter break from school. The first week was fun with visits from their Nannie on Tuesday and then their Nanny and Grandad on Wednesday – they haven’t seen their Nanny and Grandad for so long but we are allowed visitors in the garden now so they were straight up for a visit!

Then came Easter weekend and there wasn’t a huge amount of fun to be had but we did have a lovely Easter Sunday. We did an Easter hunt for the boys – clues around the house and garden leading them to their treasures, which they enjoyed so much! And then we went out for a gorgeous walk to the meadow – somewhere they had chosen to visit. They popped into the park while it was still quiet and then we walked the dog. Usually they start moaning but they fully embraced it and Zach even declared it the best walk ever. There was no arguing, they made up games together, they climbed on fallen trees, and just generally had a ball running around the big open space with the dog!

I have focused on my favourite pictures from that walk. Usually I just share one of each of them but it was hard to choose as I got some crackers! So two climby ones of Oscar, two climby ones of Zach, and then a beautiful moment of the pair of them when they found themselves a tree seat and sat watching over the river
