Living Arrows 2021 – Week 5 – Mummascribbles
“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
I’m a bit late with this week’s post as I have had some work to do for my VA clients this week! It’s been pretty quiet with that side of things so it was nice to have something different to focus on!
This week has very much been about getting on with school work, trying to keep Oscar entertained (something I feel like I am failing at a bit because Zach needs so much attention with his school work), and just general living! We have been out a lot more, sticking to the one place that I spoke about last week where we barely see anyone! I will admit that I am a bit bored of it now but the kids are still enjoying their dinosaur hunts and we took Daddy along at the weekend for the first time so he could experience it. He soon discovered why we always come home so muddy!
This week I have focused on the boys individually again. I mean, I can’t just keep sharing our dinosaur hunts with you can I?!
My photo of Zach this week is on one of our dino hunts but the feature is all him. He was walking along on his quest with his big stick and I just looked at him and was like, whoa, when did you get so big dude! And I asked him to look at me for a photo and he gave me this very serious, moody, yet sassy pose! He just seems so grown up all of a sudden. He watches the grown up kids Netflix shows, he speaks different, and he is massive. Like he isn’t far off my height and he is 8! I just loved this photo when I saw it so it had to be my feature this week of him.

Oscar’s photo this week is from when they were playing at the weekend. They had got their play kitchen out along with a bunch of other stuff and made themselves a row of it. I was up and down the stairs doing stuff and I came down, walked in, and found Oscar sat there having been wrapped up as part of the furniture! He was more than happy to do this, found a comfy spot for himself, and just sat there for ages! He just loves it when Zach plays with him and involves him fully in things right now, so he is always willing to do whatever is required in the game! And he is always one for a photo as well!

It has been a pretty quiet week. I mean it isn’t like there is a lot going on right now anyway but it just seems that we are a bit lacking with ideas on what to do when we aren’t doing schoolwork and eating! Which is why it is nice to focus on a couple of moments of the week to really appreciate!
