Mummascribbles – Mummascribbles meets…3 Kids No Sleep – Mummascribbles
This week we meet the lovely Joanne from 3 Kids No Sleep. Thanks so much for taking part Joanne 🙂

Tell me a little bit about yourself and your family
I’m a 30 year old stay at home mum to 3 kiddies. My big boy is 7, my diva daughter is just 6 and the toddler is nearly 2. I live with my husband and our fishes. We live on the outskirts of London. Â
What do you like doing to be you, when you are not parenting, working (if you do), or blogging?
My hobbies pre-babies were swimming, netball and socialising! Since having the kiddies I don’t do much of any of those. My hobbies nowdays are hot baths, early nights and eating hot food! 🙂 I really love reading, typing, and watching films when I can stay awake long enough!
What is your biggest achievement to date?
My biggest achievement is probably becoming a qualified Letting Agent at 17 years old, I felt so proud of myself. Having the children is a big achievement, of course. I don’t think I’ve actually achieved that much!! Need to do a bucket list of things to achieve before I’m 40!!!Â
From your own experiences, what do you find the hardest part of parenting and what is the easiest/most rewarding part?
Hardest part of parenting… oh dear where do I start… you’ve read my blog right? haha. Seriously, the hardest part for me is the constantness of it all. Not having a proper break. Also the constant worry and guilt about everything you do or don’t do. The most rewarding part is watching this tiny human you made grow and change and learn, and when they do something super cute. Oh and hearing “I love you mummy”. Not sure it gets better than that. Oh and when they sleep. That’s the best.Â
Parenting in itself is no mean feat; how do you juggle everything you need to in order to get everything done on a daily basis?
I don’t do a very good job of juggling!! I think with having kids in school, preparing the day before helps a lot with mornings. I love a clean and tidy house but having 3 kids means I have accepted I can’t keep everything clean, tidy and perfect all the time. I’m happy to let housework wait if the kids need me! Also getting them all involved in a task is nice, as it’s hard to spread yourself between 3 of them when they all want/need me.Â
Why did you decide to start blogging?
I love reading parenting blogs. I would find myself laughing out loud and being so surprised that other mums have the same experiences that I thought only happened to me. I just thought I’m going to write some of this craziness down in hope that others can relate!Â
Tell me a bit about your blog
It’s very new! I only started just over a month ago! It’s all about having young children. It’s basically random stuff that enters my head. I’ve done 2 expectation vs reality blogs about parenting…. One about my toddler being an a-hole. I’m not sure how or where it’ll go but I love writing it, because I really miss typing since being a stay at home mum!Â
What do you want your blog to achieve and where do you hope to see it go as it grows?
I don’t know. All I want is for other mums to relate and to enjoy reading it I guess! And if it can raise a smile then brilliant. I would love to be able to write a book one day in the future.Â
What advice would you give someone who is thinking about starting a blog?
Just do it! Seriously, I just set it up and started writing. If you change your mind or don’t enjoy it you can just delete it. 🙂Â
If you could have dinner with three people (dead or alive), who would it be and why?
Oh that’s a hard one!! Other than family members, it’d be David Beckham – because I love him. and Ant and Dec, because they’re hilarious.Â
Tell me three random facts about you
1. I still have a baby tooth
2. I once let off a helium balloon with a note and it landed in Denmark
3. I still love N*Sync.Â
