NAGA magnetic glass noticeboard – a review – Mummascribbles
I’ve loved the idea of having a glass writing board up in our house – somewhere to write notes, reminders and love messages to my boys, and I was very fortunate enough to be offered one to review from for this blog.
The Naga magnetic glass board comes in a range of wonderful colours and sizes. From small to medium to large. From white to purple to orange. There is so much choice that I spent absolutely ages deciding what colour to go for! Eventually, I chose turquoise because it was such a beautiful colour but not too garish. I didn’t want anything to clash with what we might do with our decorating in the future! I was so tempted by the bright yellow though! When it arrived, I was very excited!
We had a little look around at home and decided that it was a little too big for the kitchen but that it would be perfect in the hallway. The hallway being pretty bare at the moment, I thought it would being a bit of colour into a blank space. I set the other half to work on it!
We’d used a spirit level to attempt to get it all straight but only time would tell! First off some drilling was needed. It was a pretty noisy drill which Zach didn’t like at all.
Then he had to fit the wall plugs into the drilled holes.
Then it was time for hanging!
And then it was time to see if his spirit level and drilling accuracy was correct!
Bingo. One fab looking glass board on the wall.
The product comes with a pen that can be wiped off and also with two really strong magnets so that you can a) keep the pen on the board at all times and b) you can pop stuff up there that you might need to remember!
I absolutely love this board. It’s perfect for little reminders and looks fab on the wall. The pen takes a bit of getting used to using – you have to push down on it as you start writing to make the ink flow but once you get used to it you get a nice thick ink out of it. The other half found it really easy to put up and was very proud of his efforts!
We were sent this product for the purpose of this review but as always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
