Personalised gifting from Etch'd – Mummascribbles

I absolutely love anything personalised – often buying the other half personalised items from the boys because they always seem that little bit extra special. There are so many personalised online stores out there now that quite often it can be hard to find that extra special something, spending ages scrolling through item after item and not really feeling it. And quite often, they are things that get put to the side, stored away rather than used and sometimes it can feel like a bit of a waste.

Etch’d have come up with a great online store though, where you can personalise things that you use in everyday life. From mobile phone cases to sunglasses, and iPad sleeves to credit card holders. You name it and they can etch it (they even take commisions!). And if you are native to (or visiting) Edinburgh, then you can pop into their real shop too!

I was asked to choose something from their store for a review and as soon as I saw it, I knew it was perfect.

For ages I have wanted to buy something for the boys to leave out for Santa’s treats. There are a whole host of plates out there which, whilst lovely, I either thought would smash or just weren’t exactly what I wanted. So when I saw that Etch’d sell a wooden Santa treat board that is personalised, I had finally found exactly what I wanted.

With not being entirely imaginative, I stuck with the wording and design that was already available online but this is fully customisable and you can upload your own artwork if you wish to. Of course, I changed the names of who it is from to say Zachary and Oscar.

The board is such good quality, made from oak and the etching is just brilliant. Zach was so excited when he saw it and I know that he cannot wait to leave it out for Santa on Christmas Eve. And I am so glad that I don’t have to use random plated from the cupboard anymore which never really felt very Christmassy. We now have our dedicated Santa board to bring out each Christmas Eve for years to come.

With such a wide range of products available, and a fantastic personalisation service, I now have Etch’d stored in my favourites for all future personalised gifts!
