Review: H&A Bathtime Buddies Squirting Ducks – Mummascribbles
Thankfully bath time hasn’t been too much of a chore just recently. It’s always been a bit hit and miss, sometimes Zach is clambouring out and other times he wants to stay in forever. We are always on the lookout for fab bath toys to keep him entertained and when H&A were offering the chance to review some of their Bathtime Buddies Squirting Ducks, I contacted them and received them a short time later.
About the product
This pack of squirting ducks comes in four bright colours to stimulate a child’s senses. They are small so that they are easily held and easily squeezed by young children and they are designed to bring fun and education to bath time.
What we thought about the ducks
Zach was desperate to get them out of the packaging and I didn’t even have time to take a photo of them before they were seized by his hands! The colours were definitely a factor in him instantly loving them along with the fact that they are cute mini ducks!
Whilst in the bath, he had several moments of fun with the ducks…
They liked to balance on his head

Before he nodded them off

And they liked to squirt him in the face…lots!

He loved trying to rub all of the water off while being squirted!

For such small ducks, they are pretty powerful squirters!
Is there anything we didn’t like?
I would say that the only fault that we could find is that they didn’t seem to be great floaters – at least not in our bath! For a lot of the time, they had their heads under the water so when I tried to do four little ducks went swimming one day, it didn’t really work too great!
Overall though, he had a lot of fun with the ducks and they now join him at every bath time along with all his other bath toys!

The Bathtime Buddies Squirting Ducks are available at Asda, Sainsbury’s, Tesco & Wilko| RRP £2.00
