Snapshot Saturday #4

Woohoo, I’ve made it to week 4 of the Snapshot Saturday linky over at Super Busy Mum and this week I am actually postig on Saturday! 

This photo is a bit of a fluke to be honest. Earlier this afternoon I said to the other half and Zach (who is 3!) – which one of you boys is going to make me a cup of tea? It was completely non expectant – I don’t ever ask, I normally just make.

Suddenly I could hear the other half boiling the kettle and then he appeared with a gorgeous mug of tea. Now, he doesn’t drink hot drinks (weird right?!) so he very rarely makes it. The reason I took this photo was for a little status update on my social media channels – stating that even though he rarely makes a cuppa, he makes a damn good one! Then when I looked at the photo I absolutely loved it. I love that the focus is on the cup of tea and that in the blurred background you can see the craziness that was going on between my boys! Because a cup of tea at the weekend isn’t ever a relaxing one and this shows that perfectly. 

Because I love it so much, it has barely had any editing. It’s one of those photos you just don’t want to mess with!
